My husband and I have been customers of Dixi and Savory & Sweet Catering for almost three years now and we truly love her and their services. When my daughter was two years of age we learned that she was suffering from Gluten allergies. When her birthday came around I panicked, and called every bakery in the phone book trying to find someone to make a special cake for my daughter. Until one day I placed a call to Cakes Across America and they were kind enough to refer me to Dixi at Savory & Sweet Catering... She was my last hope to give my daughter a birthday cake she could enjoy. Dixi was so compassionate and expressed to me that she could indeed make a Gluten free cake for my daughter’s birthday!!! I was thrilled. Not only did she make a Gluten free cake but it tasted heavenly. Everyone loved it especially my daughter :)

While planning and organizing a friend's 80th Birthday Celebration, you made my tasks so much easier with your efficient and honest business practices. With one personal meeting and a couple of e-mails/phones calls you provided me with a cake that not only pleased me - but the 'Birthday Boy' and his fifty friends. Your personal preparation, delivery and set up of the cake made me proud for choosing you and Savory & Sweet Catering over all of the area's other resources/businesses. The cake was perfectly prepared and decorated. As promised the cake was obviously freshly made from scratch with natural, whole ingredients. I was glad that we chose the 'frosting art' photo of Jerold as the main focus of the cake. Also, your frosting/piping work matched the linens and color scheme of the event perfectly. Guests were photographing the cake before dinner and exclaiming how beautiful it was. After dinner as they devoured it for dessert their compliments on the taste pleased me even more! The combination of Vanilla Yellow Cake, Bavaria Cream Filling and White Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting made for a delicious, moist taste treat. "I recently visited my sister-in-law in Palm Coast, Fl and enjoyed a slice of Key Lime pie that was simply divine. My father-in-law said it was the best Key Lime pie he had ever put in his mouth and after hearing the baker was a female said he would marry her “sight unseen” just for the pie. Our family comes from Savannah, Georgia and we have some self proclaimed “Key Lime Pie Experts” that were blown away by the taste and quality of this pie. We were even more blown away to find out the pie came from a catering company ”Savory & Sweet Catering” and that an online store was in the works. Hopefully we’ll be able to enjoy some of their bakery products hear in Savannah. If not, we just might need to visit my sister more frequently!"
